Copper foiled Charles Shaw Chardonnay wine bottle pieces that have been tumbled to have a "sea glass" look . Beak, eyebrows & wings are formed copper sheet. Mane was created by putting small pieces of telephone wire in copper tubing that were soldered along the spine.

Copper foiled textured clear industrial glasses. The many steps were created by soldering the glass to walls of copper sheets of different widths with some having a taper to the widths. The triangle piece of glass pointing to the right is 2" above the lowest piece of glass.

Parrots

Copper foiled glass. The bottom parrot’s body is 3D with the shoulder depth at about 2’ higher than the green bird behind it. Also, the blue/orange birds wing is 3D. The birds eyes are glass pebbles.

Copper foiled glass. Limbs are formed copper with copper tendrils wrapped around the limbs. Some of the leaves are laid on top of the limbs. Also, glass portions of each bird are layered to give a 3D effect along with some of the leaves. The mane/top notches of the birds rise up off the base glass at differing angles. I was getting tired of the plain zinc frame I’d been using so I decided to try and match the frame design to the overall piece. I used copper pipe, cut it into 3-4" pieces then flared the edges to make it look like bamboo sections. The hardest part was then creating a channel along the length of each piece so the glass could nestle into the frame. This technique has created a "finished look".

M & B’s Sidelight

Copper foiled textured industrial glass. This window was made for my front entry. I love textured clears. They let in a lot of light but still gives you some privacy.

Pennman Springs Winery Sign

The winery wanted to be able to see their vineyard thru the sign but still have their logo. I accomplished this by cutting pieces of glass to as closely match the logo as I could. The glass pieces were glued to each other with UV glue then glued to the base sheet of tempered glass. When driving into their driveway you first drive directly at the sign then make a left down to the tasting room.

Copper foiled glass, bottle piece, copper pipe & marbles. I decided to use up some of my scrap glass. I had collecting some bottles that had some interesting textures so I broke the bottles and incorporated them in the piece with the glass scraps. It was fun to get the piece to have a nice flow
